As another season completes and the summer tournaments are well underway the managers and committee are already preparing for the new season.
As I stated at the clubs presentation day, next season is a very exciting and very important season for the club.
The club has grown very quickly over the last 3 years and I believe that it is time to consolidate what we have at the club and ensure we have a strong, solid base to take forward into future growth.
We have therefore started a recruitment campaign to bring in new Managers, Coaches and assistants, as well as trying to add additional committee members in to raise the club to the next level.
The other area of importance is to bring the club even more closer together as a community. This will ensure that we have a strong bond within the teams within the club which will bring in more boys and girls wanting to play for our teams through the strong recommendations and ties given from within the club.
To aid in addressing the community element many more club events that both parents and players can attend as a community rather than just individual teams are to be held.
A Parent committee is to be set up where representatives from each team will meet with the executive committee bi-monthly to bring in new ideas, assist on club promotion, enhance information sharing and to ensure any team issues are addressed at the earliest opportunity.I hope we get a full complement of willing parents to help drive the club forward next season.
Please contact me for further details on parent and committee positions available withing the club. We are all trying to make the club better for our kids to have the right experiences in a safe, learning, enjoyable, and social environment.
Finally on the club promotion front we are shortly starting up a club shop to provide club merchandise to players, parents and supporters. The aim is not to make any major profit from the shop, but more to promote the club with the clubs brand on a range of clothing and promotional items. This is also in line with changing to a new club kit supplier. Keep checking out our website for further details.
